Let me give you only one example: Do you enjoy Elvis Presley or The Beatles?... Well... They aren't only big musical stars, they are symbols of a new era of living, work, environment and ways of entertainnment!... They were the biginers of new tendencies regarding the way youth understands and viw the world!... They love new rock music!... And they find liturgical music as an old fashioned thing!... A thing of a finished past that they can't undestand!... Ok, I'm not suggesting that we replace liturgical music with heavy-metal, of course, but, imagine, such kind of music like Taize songs with a guitar could be a good alternative. Or an arrangement of old traditional hymns with new music in guitar... Could be!... And well, what about to pray in Latin?... It's a mess!... I learnt some Latin in the University... But Latin is a very hard and difficult to learn language... Nobody understand Latin in Prayers, Masses or anywhere else!... But we see lots of Latin in webcasts from the RCC, TEC, and surprisingly for me, from the Evangelical Lutheran Church USA or Church of Sweden!!!... Decline is not a surprise in these conditions!... Plus, note that usually the problems of youth are not the problems of adults... Glasspool and gay issiues aren't usually problems to them... But study, work, violence and the begining of emotional and sexual life are!... So, if the rector or the youth minister not understand their needs, the youth would split from the church and they probably never returns to that...
As I saw in some 'Duncanite' webcasts, they are doing something regarding music... And in their website, we see that they tend to provide some support to the youth... Youth is the future. Our traditional churches have to be more attentive to that situation... If we don't do this the 'Duncanites' of any denomination will win the war. It is time to stop applying our best energies in sexual debates or traditional music and prayer discussions and try to understand the real needs and likes of the youth!... The youth will be the adults of the future. Without them Churches will die!...

Good Evening!...Pensamento Positivohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15966734551651698758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3320087.post-73136563915449694762010-03-03T17:52:40.674-05:002010-03-03T17:52:40.674-05:00Congratulations Lionel!... ...Congratulations Lionel!... You say the truth!...

Tomorrow would be a big day in your history... All we see why!...
But, well, if Glasspool lost this war, no problem... Except probably to PB ++Schori, of course, she won't be in good conditions inside TEC... Compared with our Roman Catholic Church, TEC is a Real Dream of Inclusivity!...
There are another problems I wold like to discuss here relating Church attendences, but today I have no time...

One last note: In my humble opinion USA will have a great problem next years: 2 generations in open conflict... The internet generation and the ones with more than 50. Tea Party Movement is a symptom os that. Who are the people who go with Sarah Palin?...

Good Evening!...Pensamento Positivohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15966734551651698758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3320087.post-12982286951137585512010-03-03T15:25:53.561-05:002010-03-03T15:25:53.561-05:00Lionel --
