UPDATE, 11/24/2010, 10:38 AM: The Church of England has published a summary of the business that took place this morning, including the vote on the Covenant. The No Anglican Covenant Coalition has issued a statement.
A bunch of Gafconites have said they reject the Covenant so the Synod vote means nothing? I wish the ABC would just give up and understand that the Anglican Communion as he would like it to be is impossible since one group has no interest in anything other than their own opinions, prejudices and control. He should just say that those who attend and share his eucharist in Ireland are the Anglican Communion. Those who don't/won't are something else and welcome to become whatever they wish but they are not part of the Anglican Communion.
ReplyDelete...But the Parleament has a say after their synod... The Covenant is daad there... And Their synod granted ++Rowan Williams a chance to "finish his mandate with dignity"...
ReplyDeleteGood Evening!...
