There is, of course, both good news and bad news here. First, the bad news. I had customized my blog a lot, and all those customizations are not lost. It is going to take a good deal of work to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
On the other hand, I was using an old Blogger template, and many newly available features of Blogger blogs were not available to me. Now, they will be. In large measure, I had stuck with my old template because posts looked better when printed from its narrow columns. That rationale is now obsolete for a variety of reasons, and I guess I just have to move on.
Wish me luck. I’ll write another post when the newly designed blog has gotten to where I want it to be.
Sigh!
Lionel, I wish you luck. I'm afraid to try out the new interface.
ReplyDeleteI just keep pushing my luck with the old interface--I like it so much because I can feature, art/photos/features as a header.
ReplyDeleteLionel,
ReplyDeleteI prefer the wider columns. They are easier to read.
